Did a little speed work before the race on Saturday. Didn't have a lot of time to run so I made it short. 1 mile warm-up, 2 miles at 7:00 pace, 1 mile at 8:00 pace and 3x800 in 3:15 starting every 5 minutes.
Here is how it went:

3:00 (180) 130 in 1:10 and 120 in 1:20
3:10 (no data) 130 in :48 and 120 in 1:09
3:08 (176) 130 in 100 and 120 in 1:15
I felt great and obviously misjudged pace on the 800s. I backed off after the first one but was surprised at how I kept creeping down to run around 6:05 pace. It felt really comfortable.
